Community grants
- This year marks our seventh year of supporting impactful community initiatives.
- To date, we’ve proudly awarded $215,000 in grants to 19 incredible recipients making a real difference.

What can $10,000 do for your community project?
If your community, sporting group, charity, or not-for-profit organisation is directly improving the lives of people with disability or older people, we want you to apply for one of four $10,000 grants.
What type of initiatives are we looking for?
By applying, you could join our long list of past grant recipients who have genuinely made a difference to the lives of people with disability or older people by helping ensure their inclusion and independence.
Past winners include:
- A community group from South-West Sydney that takes older people to exercise classes, mixed with the chance to socialise with attendees.
- Shared Reading NSW, a not-for-profit organisation that shares people’s love of reading with people with disability from their local Blue Mountains community.
- The MJD Foundation’s inaugural five-day camp for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men in remote Northern Territory communities affected by Machado-Joseph Disease, offering culturally engaging and educational activities to improve well-being and provide vital information.
- Blind Sports and Recreation Victoria, for their training and resource kits aimed at supporting workers and carers to help people with vision loss lead more active and socially connected lives.
